Armenian Street Heritage Hotel, Penang

Armenian Street Heritage Hotel is so new that taxi drivers don’t know about it yet. πŸ™

The hotel is located in the centre of Georgetown UNESCO World Heritage where all the murals are. It is a new hotel managed for the Tunes Hotel group, but rest assured it is very different from the original Tunes Hotel concept hehe.

All these are just a stone throw away!

The lobby is clean and modern, with a touch of old English Penang heritage to it. The hotel has 92 rooms across 5 floors, with the top floor converted into an observatory deck where you could view the Heritage Street from above.

I got myself a double room with a queen size bed, and the room size can probably fit at least 3 people. I was alone and I basically can run around in the room heh.

Each room is fitted with nice wooden floor which gave a vintage feeling to the room.

No complains about the bathroom…

… although the water took a little while to get warm.

What I really loved about this place is they have a huge window which allow natural sunlight to seep into the room.

Oh I felt like a princess being awaken by the morning sun haha.

Just had to take some Instagram worthy photos. It’s not always I get wonderful sunlight for photography like these.

However, one thing that needed improvement was the WiFi connection. I was at the 4th floor, and the speed was very weak. I could not do much because loading Facebook was pretty slow as well. πŸ™

I had a satisfactory experience here albeit the WiFi, and if you are looking for a convenient hotel to stay, do give this place a try! Hotel is located opposite the Georgetown World Heritage Inc!
