#BigBlogX Adventure Last Day: Ziplining, Fresh Lobster, Awesome Sunsets and Goodbye Canada! :(
I like anything adventurous, and so Shane brought me, Timo (Hostelling International staff) and his girlfriend Jasmine all the way to French River for Anchors Above Ziplining!
It really reminded me of my virgin ziplining experience in Chiang Mai last year. π
Only CND30 per person, and the rate goes cheaper if you go in a group. π
Buckle up!
We also had to climb uphill for 5 minutes to reach the starting point.
Anchors Above Zipline is pretty short, with only 2 zip-lines. The first one is longer, but slower but you pretty much get to enjoy the lush sceneries around you. The second one is much faster and more exhilarating!
Ah I need more exciting activities again!
After lunch, we drove another 2 hours back to Halifax. Everyone fell asleep and I felt so bad for Shane who had to drive us. π
Halifax, being a port town, has many ships parked at the waterfront harbour. Such magnificent things right? The weather that day was perfect for photographs as well. π
My last dinner in Canada was fresh lobster at Murphy’s – The Cable Wharf! This was my first time having a whole lobster as a meal, and it was soooo satisfying! π
Ended the dinner with Shane with an awesome brownie with ice cream as well!
And as the sun sets, you are greeted with amazing sunsets as well.
Halifax is beautiful!
Canada had been super awesome! And I can’t wait to return if there’s any chance for me to do so! Thank you Hostelling for the opportunity, and thank you Hostelling Canada for the amazing hospitality. I never felt so taken care of in my travels. π
If you want to read my other Canada post, it’s here! π
