My experience to Chiang Mai with Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau was very different from my other media fam trips. It was skewed a little towards an experience for MICE travelers, who comes to Thailand for conferences, events or exhibitions.
Flew in with Thai Airways!
Special premium lane to beat the queue, because MICE travelers are important, busy people.
Police escorts so we could get to the destination quickly.
And most importantly, we had a good mix between fun and work.
Experienced rice planting at Siripana Hotel, and I have a feeling the real paddy farmers would need to replant everything because we were so bad at it hahaha.
And for work, we visited Queen Sirikit Convention Centre in Chiang Mai. Where can you find such a grand and well designed convention hall omg. So much detail!
I really liked TCDC (Thailand Creative & Design Center) as well as I feel that it is really helpful for creative people like us. They have a huge knowledge and materials library where the people can get inspired and meet other like minded people.

Food is not compromised as well. Everything was top notch!
Got up close with handsome Muay Thai warriors at Asiatique’s Muay Thai Live Show and adorable zebras who bites if you feed them carrots by hand at Chiang Mai Night Safari.
Little gifts and souvenirs were presented along the trip which was a really nice touch. I did not feel like I was traveling there for a serious and business-like trip at all! Thank you TBEC, Sirima and her team from The Arimis and Thai Airways for the fantastic time in Thailand! ( ˘ ³˘)❤( ˘ ³˘)❤
